Child Safety Standards
Safara has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any abuse targeting minors.
1. Zero-tolerance policy
Safara explicitly prohibits any use of the service involving child sexual abuse or exploitation. This includes uploading, requesting, sharing, promoting, normalizing, or attempting to arrange exploitative conduct involving minors.
- CSAM is strictly prohibited.
- Grooming, trafficking, coercion, sextortion, and exploitative off-platform contact are prohibited.
- Any attempt to use Safara messaging, circles, reports, or attachments to facilitate exploitation of a minor is prohibited.
2. Reporting and in-app safety mechanisms
Safara provides in-app reporting pathways for harmful content and behavior. We use user reports, moderation review, safety signals, and operational tooling to investigate child-safety concerns.
- Users can report harmful content and users through in-app reporting flows.
- High-risk reports are prioritized for urgent review.
- Safara may preserve relevant content, account records, and metadata where needed for investigation or legal compliance.
3. Enforcement and escalation
Safara may act without notice where child safety is at risk. Immediate protection takes priority over keeping content live while review is pending.
- Immediate content removal, account restriction, suspension, or termination for severe or confirmed violations
- Preservation of evidence and metadata for investigation
- Escalation to law enforcement, NCMEC, or another relevant regional authority where required by applicable law or policy obligations
4. Age, access, and platform integrity
Accounts that misrepresent age for exploitative purposes, attempt to evade child-safety controls, or use Safara to contact minors for sexual purposes may be restricted or removed.
5. Cooperation with authorities
Safara cooperates with valid legal requests and child-protection investigations in accordance with applicable law, and may proactively escalate severe child-safety cases to the appropriate authority or child-protection body where required.
